Being Excellent

Google Gemini recommends the following:

Condensation dripping from a MRCOOL indoor wall unit (O-09-HP-WMAH-230C-O) usually stems from a few specific, common causes. You can diagnose and resolve the issue by working through the primary culprits below, ordered from most frequent to least frequent:

Step 1: Clear a Clogged Condensate Drain Line (Most Common) Over time, dust, algae, or biofilm can clog the flexible drain hose exiting the back of the indoor unit. When water can’t drain outside, it overflows the internal drain pan and drips down the wall.

How to fix:

Go outside and locate the exit end of the thin drain hose (where condensate normally drips out).

Take a wet/dry shop vacuum, attach it tightly around the hose opening (wrap a wet rag around the nozzle to form a seal), and run the vacuum for 60–90 seconds. This will suck out built-up slime or dirt.

Turn off the AC power, lift the front cover on the indoor unit, remove the air filters, and carefully pour 1–2 cups of warm water directly into the narrow drain channel below the evaporator coil. Check outside to confirm it drains immediately and freely.
