Training Sessions
Session One
Objectives
- Introduce trainee to concepts required to use the ShopBot
- Workflow: CAD -> CAM -> GCode/SBP
- Machine safety & setup
- Familiarize trainee with ShopBot production area and "normal" operation
- Produce a personally cut part for the trainee to take home (currently: *insert latest version*)
Materials
- Session one PPT presentation
- Pizza-box fixture setup for mounting (including base plate, mounting screws, and nylon screws)
- Wood floor tiles (or other stock)
- 1/4" dia shank carbide cutter
