Use this list to safely and properly use the ShopBot. You can click through links to view more detailed instructions and resources.

Install mill bit in chuck. Monkey tight.	File:Shopbot-chuck-installation
Position mill bit to origin (set in VCarve) (unless using absolute positioning For more, see ShopBot Bit Positioning	File:Homing-bit-to-origin
Home Z Axis.	File:Shopbot-z-homing
Ensure Z homing plate and alligator clips are returned to holder	File:Homing-plate-home
(OPTIONAL) Use Keypad Quick Positions to memorize toolchange and job location	File:Quick-position-ex
Ensure sane Safe Z Height (Cutter Values > Set safe Z height)	File:Safe-z-height
Ensure tool will not hit screws or other objects securing material. For more, see Securing ShopBot Material	File:Securing-material-to-shopbot
(OPTIONAL) Ensure system log is enabled for suspend/resume.	File:Suspend-resume-log
Attach dust collector boot.	File:Dust-collector-boot
Open dust collector valve. Close other dust collector valves.	File:Dust-collector-values
Turn dust collector on.	File:Dust-collector-switch
Load file, and click run.	File:Load-part-file
