Chocolate fondue.
Served for Tuesday Dinner on 2013-12-17.
Ingredients
- 1 c heavy cream
- loose leaf Earl Grey tea to taste
- 10 oz baking milk chocolate
- vanilla extract to taste
- cinnamon to taste
- creme de minthe to taste
- hazelnut schnapps to taste
Directions
- Heat cream until it starts to boil, then remove from heat.
- Steep tea leaves in cream, then strain out.
- Heat cream and stir in chocolate until all melted.
- Stir in vanilla, cinnamon, creme de minthe, and hazelnut schnapps.
- Heat over low heat until alcohol has cooked off.
Notes and Variations
Serve with fruit, marshmallows, cake, or other sweet baked dessert items. Dark chocolate may also used, but will require much more cream or it will separate when it is heated.
