Raise/Lower Mechanism Damage/Failure in May of 2026

Raise/Lower handle drives lift mechanism via 2 nylon meshing gears. Gears fixed to shafts via grub screws. Nylon threads torn out.

Repaired by drilling through lift rod, and tapping threads directly into the shaft. ran grub screw completely through gear and into shaft.
