Membership Report

Our September membership stands at 68 souls. It has held at this level for three months, but our goal is to grow to 76 members by December.

  • We added one new member (Lon Moore) and he was an active participant in the Maker Faire YEA!
  • We lost one member (Charles Schulz) who voluntarily suspended. Sad
  • AJ Lewis will start his Makership next month.

We have added 7 new members in the past four months, but we have lost the same amount of old members in the same period. Our OOPS activities ARE BEARING FRUIT TO GROW our membership. This is the link to the September report: <LVL1 - Membership Trend 202509.pdf>.

Treasurer Report

The month of September 2025 brought further welcomed financial improvements, making it five months in-a-row. We are on a roll! Here is the link for the <LVL1-FinancialSummary-202509.pdf< with the following values:

  • September 2025 REVENUE was $5,890.07.
  • September 2025 EXPENSE was ($3,869.04).
  • September 2025 NET was cash positive at $2,021.03 for the month (best month of the year), and we are now cash positive year-to-date at $4,755.28.
  • Danielle and KevinF each hosted separate workshops during September.
    • Embroidery Machine Madness! grossed $45.00 from three attendees paying $15.00 each
    • Let's Make a Wood Street Sign grossed $66.00 from six attendees paying $11.00 each
    • It is an important minor matter to discuss the implementation and revenue allocations from these events as a role model that encourages more workshops in the future.
  • As your treasurer, I can also share that an anonymous member has recently made a generous $2,000.00 donation to LVL1. The donor's only designation is for the officers and directors to determine how these funds are to be best used to benefit LVL1.
