Vandalism

  • Chair was reported being spotted down the street, John Coder recovered it. Video review was authorized and carried out by Bill and Andy. The incident was not captured. 48 hours of video reviewed.
  • Vandalism in the metal shop has been addressed with the offending member.
  • Dog shit issue has been addresses the the offending member.

Theft

We were invioiced for the Refrigerant and damages that were done to AC units outside, More details in the financial report

Lawsuit Update

  • Our Court Date will be rescheduled. Andy and Tiffany will represent LVL1 at "motion hour" on July 29th 2022, 11am. Motion hours are zoomed. Andy will put the link on the member group.
  • Andy asks that members email him with any specific questions or concerns about the suit.

Financial Snapshot for June

  • 92 members
  • 1 Makership (month #2). Minimal expenses thus far.
  • We received a notice from the IRS last week informing us we filed our 2020 return late. It was filed online. The IRS says it wasn't received. Tiffany and former treasurer are working with the IRS. We are hopeful the issue will be resolved with the $2,202 penalty waived.

Space Improvements

  • All of the 3d printers are working - big shoutout to John Coder
  • Boneyard redesign: Some clutter is creeping back in.
  • Air conditioner - Nedra and Tiffany - update on the AC install. Will be working to get units in in the next couple of weeks. If you can help, get in touch with Nedra or Tiffany.

General Discussion

  • Laser safety: PSA will be posted reiterating laser must me attended at all times. Tim Miller will investigate an automatic fire extinguisher that would be mounted above the laser.
  • How to incentivize members to teach, share what they know is tabled for now. Some are in favor of incentives and or/teachers making money from teaching. Some are not. Amy and Danielle will discuss offline.
