Vandalism

  • On Sunday 5/8/2022 early in the morning, The AC units at The Pointe were vandalized by an individual who was caught on security footage. He stole, a small length of copper tubing of our 2 AC units. This resulted in the loss of 15lbs of refrigerant and the repair to replace the copper.

The bill came to 1,650.00 dollars total. Tasman properties will invoice us for the repairs.

Theft

  • As reported on both message boards, an expensive mountain bike belonging to a member was stolen, removed, vanished, from Lvl1.
  • If anyone knows anything, please say something.
  • We are currently reviewing security footage.
  • The owner does not wish to take legal action, just wants her bike back.

Lawsuit Update

  • LVL1 was served with a summons to appear in small claims court for trial on May 11, 2022 at 1:00 pm. We filed a counter suit which was rejected. The plaintiff requested the suit be moved to district court for a jury trial.
  • At motion hour on Friday, May 13, LVL1 presented our written counter claim and a request for continuance as we did not receive notice of the upcoming trial date within the time period for notification (violation of local rule 304A.)
  • Our motion was accepted.
  • Raj, Andy and Tiffany appeared virtually.
  • The trial date will be set at motion hour this coming Friday. The attorney Raj consulted said the trial will probably be late June or early August.
  • The attorney also says that small claims and district court are procedurally informal.
  • We will present our case and let the judge decide.
  • LVL1 will proceed with trial preparation quietly and not make our strategy public. Andy asks that members email him with any specific questions or concerns.
