• Began at 8:10
• 18 hackers present
• Recap of Oculus LVL1 camera with Python script on web host to interface with flickr
• New angle grinder in basement
• Brian brought in a new lens for future Oculus camera
• No news on the proposed bus to Maker Faire Detroit.
  • Perhaps Hive13 has some extra seats?
  • Reminder: people going need to schedule hotel stay
  • Nobody present in charge of bus scheduling
• Proposal to invest in laser cutter from China to have at the space
  • Payment by the minute? Up-front?
  • Committee to discuss the proposal online
  • Think of the possibilities! Gifts! Balloon projects! Synthesizer panels!
  • Dan may have a cutter: lasing tube intact but CNC controllers broken...
  • 501(c)3 is still pending; to accept donation we would need to write a receipt to the donor and back-file.
  • Maybe we could re-purpose a pick-and-place machine from a closing machine shop nearby?
• This April was the first month LVL1 didn't have a workshop :(
  • Workshops raise money and share knowledge
• Bot arena is in the works. Need demonstrated interest to continue.
  • Radio control is probably more fun and compatible with other arenas than autonomous
