The rocket tree was built out of the necessity to store hobby rockets in a compact way. It is built in the shape of a rocket with the fins as stand supports and a nose cone for show. Rings are glued to the sides to hold hobby rockets by the fins. It is built by reusing cardboard shipping tubes (used for large metal beams) for the body and rings, lauan plywood for fins, and a styrofoam cone all hot glued together.
