Overview

This checklist exists to ensure that a job generated with VCarve will not break your bit, damage the machine, or ruin your material.

Checklist

Material Setup - Dimensions and thickness are correct.
Origin is set correctly to center, corner, or table absolute.
Feed rate, chip load are appropriate to material.
Cutting depth does not exceed spoilboard. For more, see VCarve Quick Start::Cutting Depth
(OPTIONAL) Advanced Path options align with grain of material.	File:Advanced-path-graphic.png
Pass depth(s)/Plunges will not break bit
Toolpath has been previewed
