Current Troubles -- Travis G 17:37, 21 November 2010 (EST)
- The heated (non-automated) build platform is warped. When printing on Nov 21, the print head hit the tape on the platform and tore the tape, also denting the foil. The MakerBot had successfully printed two small items, and on the third trial (the print head beginning zeroed at the same height), the tolerance was just close enough to cause scraping.
- As of Nov 21, the extruder's default motor ports (1A and 1B) are not working. A multimeter reads zero when trying to extrude from those ports. The DC extruder motor is currently in ports 2A, 2B and works fine.
- As of Nov 21, the one assembled orange raft has magnets of the wrong polarity. It will not stay seated on its cradle because these magnets are incorrect.
Minor Issues -- Travis G 17:39, 21 November 2010 (EST)
- As of Nov 21, the Y Axis currently seems to make a lot of extra noise. It sounds like a very fast rattling, though I couldn't muffle it regardless of where I held suspect parts still. I'm not sure if this is indicative of some problem.
