Proposed Rules and Consequences

Rules

1. Be excellent to each other
2. No illegal activity as laid out by local and federal laws
3. When you make a mess it is your responsibility to clean it up, including taking out the trash.
4. No Harassment as laid out by the harassment guidelines, local and federal laws Bylaws#Harassment_Policy
   1. Ask before touching another person or entering their personal space. Interpret the absence of a clear “Yes” as a “No” and abide by it.
   2. When community members and guests express a limit to the amount and type of socializing they wish to engage in, abide by that limit.
   3. You are encouraged to express any socializing limits you may have.
   4. When you question whether a joke, question, statement, or other communication would be considered inappropriate, do not proceed to communicate.
   5. When you are asked to stop any harassing behavior, comply immediately.
5. During normal business hours we need to be careful about noise and especially careful about fumes/odors. If a neighbor complains about either of these issues the activity causing the complaint must be ceased immediately. Loud and dirty projects should be confined to the Bunker area.
6. All tool "improvements" that are not immediate repairs must be approved by the board of directors or superseded by membership by simple majority vote.
7. No storing of projects, materials or trash in public work areas.
   1. Woodshop
   2. Classroom
   3. Metal Shop
   4. Main room
   5. Walkways
8. Limit all projects stored at lvl1 to 30 days unless it fits on your personal standard member storage shelf.
   1. This includes group projects
   2. This limit can be extended by simple member majority vote.
   3. After 30 days all abandoned projects can be thrown in the trash.
9. No purposeful abuse of the Equipment or hackerspace facilities

Consequences

Without Consequences Rules are useless

1. Loose Ability to store Projects or use member storage for 24 hours
2. Loose Ability to store Projects or use member storage for 7 Days
3. Loose Ability to store Projects or use member storage for 30 Days
4. Loose Ability to store Projects or use member storage for 1 Year
5. Loose Ability to store Projects or use member storage for Permanently
6. Loose Tool or area access for 24 hours
7. Loose tool or area access for 7 days
8. Loose tool or area access for 30 days
9. Loose tool or area access for 1 year
10. Loose tool or area access permanently
11. Loose Membership access for 24 hours
12. Loose Membership access for 7 Days
13. Loose Membership access for 30 Days
14. Loose Membership access for 1 year
15. Loose Membership access Permanently
16. Loose Total access for 24 hours
17. Loose Total access for 7 Days
18. Loose Total access for 30 days
19. Loose Total access for Permanently
