Overview

This checklist exists to ensure that a job generated with VCarve will not break your bit, damage the machine, or ruin your material.

For a more detailed introduction to VCarve, see VCarve Pro Reference Manual (PDF) (note: version not aligned to current design computer version).

Checklist

Material Setup - Dimensions and thickness are correct.
Origin is set correctly to center, corner, or table absolute.
Feed rate, chip load are appropriate to material.
Cutting depth does not exceed spoilboard.

(OPTIONAL) Advanced Path options align with grain of material.
