Usage/Safety
- This belt and disk sander is a relatively safe tool, but the motor is strong enough and the sandpaper coarse enough to chew your finger in a fraction of a second.
- MIND THE GAP between the table/steady_rest and the rotating sandpaper belt/disk. Have a safe hand and arm exit strategy should the belt pull your stock into the gap.
- Always wear safety glasses. If you haven’t used this sander before, make practice cuts on scrap softwood stock and then try hardwood scraps.
This equipment uses the following sandpaper belt/disk sizes:
- 6" x 48" sanding belt - 9" dia. sanding disk
