Training Sessions

Session One

Objectives

• Introduce trainee to concepts required to use the ShopBot
  • Workflow: CAD -> CAM -> GCode/SBP
  • Machine safety & setup
• Familiarize trainee with ShopBot production area and "normal" operation
• Produce a personally cut part for the trainee to take home (currently: *insert latest version*)

Materials

• Session one PPT presentation
• Pizza-box fixture setup for mounting (including base plate, mounting screws, and nylon screws)
• Wood floor tiles (or other stock)
• 1/4" dia shank carbide cutter
