Minutes

1. Call to order at 8:00 pm by mikrokernel. 29 humans present.
2. Jon reviewed the occupancy sensor data output.
3. Tyler apologized for the LED sign mess. He has plans to add signs above the restrooms indicating who is using them and their specific "type" of use.
4. Chris C discussed the new open makerships. Application deadline is this month.
5. Power wheels racing league meeting will be moved to a later time in the day... probably 9 pm.
6. Brad will have meeting at 7pm on Thursday to learn how to use git and github.
7. Jan 21 will be a kicad circuit design workshop.
8. Joe LaGreek will be hosting a low power FM transmitter workshop.
9. Weez discussed his investigation into casting aluminum and stainless from Makerbot parts. details to follow.
10. Brian will set up a workshop for Arduino digital input on Jan 29.
11. Chris got a bulk order for Atari chips that can be used for first timer kits.
12. Brad talked about his hobo robot. Ask him for details.. I do not want to post the nefarious concepts for public consumption.
13. Randy discussed his idea for a makership - a usb hub kit.
14. Josh reported that he had 'found' a pile of old laptops in the trash and one has been rehabilitated for donation to a low income user.
