Door information

  • The front door uses a keypad lock attached to the RFID system. The keypad has no function, all functions are controlled by the RFID system.
  • The side door uses an electric strike attached to the RFID system.
  • The back door uses a magnetic lock attached to the RFID system. Due to the construction of the doors, one door is "active" and controlled by an IR sensor from the inside. The other door is "inactive." In order to open both doors at this time, you must unplug power to the magnets.
  • The LVL1 door is using a custom access control system designed by Brad Luyster
  • The door hardware, firmware, and software are open source: https://github.com/Zuph/doar/
