Minutes

  1. Call to order at 8:10 pm with 28 warm blooded creatures present.
  2. Nick reports that we now have a working vacuum pump and chamber for de-gassing.
  3. It appears that the bldg owner will son be working on floors in the front area. If you have stuff in there get it out or lose it soon.
  4. Tinkering to commercialization update... They discussed free local governmental resources to get a new business started. Kentucky Small Business Development Corp offers free market surveys for start-ups.
  5. Bernheim Connect. Joe said the fire breathing pony had some issues with setting the grass on fire... oops. Jon's balloon LOL shield did indeed fly. v02 is coming soon. Mark learned that speakers will indeed melt.
  6. Lots of Occulus week in review pictures.
  7. Project review
    1. Dave Hibberd (sp?) with a strange accent reminiscent of Sean Connery discussed his high altitude ballooning project. We learned a new word: "Catsatrof**k"... very descriptive.
    2. FireTim discussed the LOL shield in the sky... aka LSD. The deadline for completion was 630 pm and the soldering was done at 7pm.
    3. Mikrokernel is working on his electric bike.
    4. BradL is working on PCB about the size of a watch battery with a zigbee transceiver that can actually be inserted in a helium balloon.
    5. Brian brought his airswimmer clown fish. Not yet ready for school.
    6. Jon has installed the AI "Mother" system in the space. He needs help in adding functionality.
    7. Becky and Paul have their EL wire for their costumes. Project will be minus two hours before the party.
