Equipment and Supplies Wanted

  • Space - Outdoor seating & tables
  • Charles - Looking for above ground portable pool (15 ft diameter and hold water, 1-2 ft tall)
    • How to make circuit boards with the CNC router
  • Terry - Hardwood boards: cherry, walnut, maple, oak, etc.
    • Historic wood working tools

Space Upgrades

  • Lathe donation
  • Keyboard meetup brought in spare parts
  • Jose's sensor array is operating again
  • Terry brought in his router table

Space Downgrades

  • Clive Badger is on its last legs
  • The quickest way to get something fixed is to let us know that it is broken! Send broken equipment reports to broken@lvl1.org
    • This includes supplies like drill bitses and soap!

    • Mend It Monday (the other fortnightly Mondays, next 6/29 @ 7 PM)
      • Help LVL1 repair broken equipment & learn the equipment from the inside out

      • Learn how to use a tool at LVL1 before the meeting

      • Help build a tiny house (on wheels) & figure out grant/donation opportunities

      • Bring a project, learn to sew!

Project Roll Call

  • New space user: working on a new generator design
  • Rob brought a tree lamp made from instamorph
    • Also looking for help troubleshooting an Arduino YUN
  • Terry updates us on his makership
    • Building his bow out of hickory that will take 2 years to dry
    • Will also be building arrows
  • Gary found some cheap Chinese stepper motors with controllers
    • Has it interfacing with a photo interruptor to perform specific turning program
    • Included two motors to increase torque

  • Thank you Cody for your work in the boneyard, negotiated new office chairs for the space as well!
  • Thank you Terry for upgrading the wood working workshop
