Still To Figure Out

  • Sending Medic IR from arduino
    • SpreadSheet of all IR Codes [1]
  • Reading IR pin on Arduino
    • SpreadSheet of all IR Codes [2]
  • Setup Game Sketch in Arduino
  • Would be nice to figure out how to use a small chip to just out a specific IR code over and over

Task To Do

  • Build Cardboard Forts and Barriers
  • Make additional 360 IR Domes
  • Make 2 more full arm/leg band sets
  • Move guns On/Off switch to arduino pin
  • Move guns "Team Select button to Arduino Pin
  • Add 2 Arduino ON/Off Push Buttons for gameplay options

Need To Purchase or Acquire

  • More IR Receivers
  • Possibly More Tense Units
  • IR Domes and PCB's
  • Possibly Two more Rifles
  • LOTS OF BATTERIES
  • Two more packs of elastic for arm/leg bands
  • Facemask
  • Knee Pads
  • Elbow Pads

Arduino GamePlay

The arduino will control the on/off of the gun. Game Play order:

  • Gun On
    • Finger Print on Rifles
  • Set Team
  • Check for Three Solid Life bars
  • Start Game
  • IR In is on interrupt

If we have time

  • IR Blaster on Parrot AR Drone
  • IR Med Packs
  • IR Granades

Build Instructions for Full Set

Gun Wiring

Gun wiring taps inside gun and comes out through headphone port. Terminate each end with a JST plug and label as 1,2,3.

  • IR Receiver
  • 5V
  • Gnd
  • On/Off Toggle
  • LifeLED1
  • LifeLED2
  • LifeLED3
  • TeamSelect
  • IR Out

IR Domes

IR Domes get wired to a JST plug

  • IR Recieve
  • Pwr
  • Gnd

Tense Leads

Tens leads are left as Raw leads and ran through the shoulder and belt loops to the inside of the vest pocket.

  • GND lead of each tense set goes to common groun
  • V+ of each lead gets ran through 5V relay channel
