    • New frame designed. Needs to be cut & reassembled. Everything else works.
  • The quickest way to get something fixed is to let us know that it is broken! Send broken equipment reports to broken@lvl1.org
    • This includes supplies like drill bitses and soap!

    • Sound Builders (fortnightly Mondays, next 12/21 @ 8pm)
    • Night of The Hat (every other fortnightly Mondays, next 1/11 @ 8 PM)
      • Learn to solder, work on Inter-hackerspace Battleship, Kittens, and open making

    • Learn-a-Thing Workshops (Tuesday 6pm)
      • Learn how to use a tool at LVL1 before the meeting (informal setting; great for first-timers!)
    • LVL1 Open Meeting & Making (Tuesday 8pm)
  • WEDNESDAY
    • Mednesday @ 7 PM
      • Learn LVL1's equipment from the inside out by helping repair and maintain tools
      • This week's focus: 3D printer repair
    • MakerEd Educators MeetUp (1st Wed of the Month 1/6 @ 7pm)
  • THURSDAY
    • Sewing Night - 3rd Thursday - 12/17
      • Bring a project, learn to sew!
    • Drone Meetup - 4th Thursday - (01/28) @ 8 PM
      • Talk shop, fix your drone, and take flight!

    • Irregular Movie and Open Build Night (8pm)
      • Watch a terrible movie and ignore your project! Or maybe work on your project and ignore a terrible movie... The choice is yours.

    • 20,000 people from all over the world for youth robotics (vex) competition
    • Need 800 - 1000 volunteers
    • Do NOT have to know robotics and people as young as 10 can volunteer
    • People with more knowledge can receive training and be judges or referees.

Project Roll Call

  • Pat submitted a finished application for the next Battlebots competition/TV show
  • Ludum Dare
    • Kevin & Danielle shows off their game: Help Santa take over the world by any means necessary
      • Text based, "Civilization" type game with research tasks and other hilarious facets
    • Had tons of other submissions from the local community
  • Kevin finished his noise controlled lights: bass drum controlled flashing light strip
  • Jared made a moon shaped wood shelf with steps standing out to hold knick-knacks
  • Gary made a rack to hang his "guitardis" using aluminum stock
